MachineGames is looking for a 3D Artist to join our team!
In this role you will be working in a tight-knit department under the supervision of our Leads and World Art Director and you will collaborate in cross-functional teams on a daily basis.
MachineGames Sweden AB is a game developer based in Uppsala, Sweden (a small and vibrant city 40 minutes north of Stockholm with a historical heritage reaching back to pre-medieval times).
Founded in 2010, MachineGames consists of seasoned, passionate and talented developers recognized for unique creative vision and ability to fuse intense first-person gameplay with immersive narratives, all within beautifully detailed worlds. The studio is best known for developing games in the Wolfenstein-series and, most recently, the development of the critically acclaimed Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

This is a permanent onsite position at either of our offices in Uppsala or Sundsvall, Sweden, starting as soon as possible. We will support your relocation and/or application for work permit if you have a non-EU passport and/or are not currently residing in Sweden.
Responsibilities
- Create models and texture from concept to final model in engine.
- Optimize models for game to run smooth.
- Work together with level design and environment artists to realize the levels.
- Work alongside your senior colleagues, Leads and Art Director to support the vision of our games.
- Receive and provide feedback in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Critique your own work and meet set deadlines.
- Be pro-active within production.
Qualifications
- Exhibit a good level of skill within your area of expertise.
- Have good knowledge of at least one major modeling package (Maya, MAX, Lightwave, MODO or equivalent).
- Have good knowledge of a sculpture program (Z-brush, 3D coat or equivalent).
- Have good knowledge of Substance Painter.
